Description
On offer here we have these three very cool, very chic, Japanese Stoneware Sake Jug Table Lamps.
A quick google image search suggests these may be from the Meiji or Showa period.
Left lamp with the 25cm lampshade and white plug attached to the light fitting measures approx. 44cm from base to socket.
Middle lamp with no lampshade and a black plug attached to the light fitting measures approx. 41cm from base to socket.
Right lamp with the 25cm lampshade and black plug that comes out of a hole in the back of the lamp measures approx 44cm, shade sits a little lower on this one.
The writing on the left lamp may possibly read "Nomachi", and the right lamp possibly reads "Yamazaki". Middle lamp possibly reads " Shu Zhu". We would welcome any info!
There is one major crack in one of the lamps, the others are fine, some imperfections as pictured. The lampshades have a couple of cracks in the lining.
Two of the lamps have stickers on the underside from Victoria Antiques.
We have tested all the sockets with bulbs, and they work as they should.
Buyer must pick up, or arrange shipping from our store - each lamp weighs around 2.5-3kg and we don't have the appropriate packing materials to make sure these delicate pieces can be shipped safely.
