Our Story
The Pawn Shop opened in 1989 on Tuam Street, a single store serving central Christchurch. After a fire in 2003 we relocated to 77 Ferry Road, and from there grew into the three stores we run today - Ferry Road, Riccarton Road, and Blenheim Road.
Through earthquakes, rebuilds, and a global pandemic, we've kept our doors open and our promise the same: fair prices, honest dealings, and a welcoming experience for everyone.
