On offer here we have this Makita 18V LXT 82mm Planer, model number "DKP180Z".
"This Makita 18V planer features a unique cutter head that offers fast stock removal. It operates at a no load speed of 14,000rpm. It offers up to 2mm cutting depth per pass with a 0.1mm increment depth adjustment. The strong aluminium base ensures high planing accuracy. Buttons on either side of the tool allows the user to operate the planer from either side. Enhanced chip ejection and shoe on the underside safeguards both workpiece as well as blade settings. The depth can be adjusted based on the application.
Dust extraction port on the side to secure workpiece from possible damage
Ensures max rebate depth up to 9mm
Straight line face with easy to push handle ensures fatigue free operation
Shoe on the underside prevents accidental laying down of planer
